How We Review

Every build on this site passes the same bench before the download button lights up. This page is the bench, published so you can hold us to it.

Step 1: File verification

We check the package identity and exact file size of the APK against the genuine Mornye Team build, review the permissions it requests, and scan the file. A build that fails any check is never published.

Step 2: Real phones

We install on five handsets: a Samsung Galaxy A55 on Android 15, a Google Pixel 8 on Android 16, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro on Android 14, an Infinix Note 40 Pro on Android 14, and a Samsung Galaxy A13 on Android 12. The A13's job is honesty: it shows us where older hardware starts to feel a big hi-res library, and we report that honestly.

Step 3: The test library

Every build scans the same library: carefully tagged lossless albums, everyday downloads with imperfect tags, singles in loose folders and a few very large hi-res recordings. We time the scan, check the sections and statistics it builds, and note anything it gets wrong.

Step 4: Long listening

Then we simply listen, for days: commutes, kitchen sessions, evening albums end to end. Lyrics timing, equalizer behaviour, gapless joins and recap accuracy are all judged in real use, not in a feature checklist.

About ratings

Mornye has no store listing and therefore no store rating exists to quote, so this site publishes no star rating for it, here or in our data. Community enthusiasm is real, and we cite it as exactly that. What we publish as a verdict is the bench above, in words, where we can be held to it.
